Although it has already established a standard, having recently staged the play "Afternoon Sunshine" for the National Drama Festival and winning numerous awards, the version of "Braised Goby Fish - Afternoon Sunshine" has created an opportunity to introduce the participation of young talents.
Making her theatrical debut, Meritorious Artist Kim Tuyến tried her best to harmonize with her fellow actors. Unlike acting in front of the camera, the flow of a theatrical performance needs to be maintained throughout, which made the film actors somewhat hesitant. However, Meritorious Artist Kim Tuyến and Quách Ngọc Tuyên delivered many moving performances.

Moreover, the play received much applause for its charming humor, with the trio of Quoc Thao (playing Mr. Hoai Huong), Meritorious Artist Quynh Huong (playing Mrs. Tam selling puffed rice cakes), and Huu Nghia (playing Mr. Chin, the artist) bringing moments of exhilaration and adding weight to the play by delving into the psychological depth of elderly characters struggling to integrate into urban life and feeling resentful for being a burden to their children and grandchildren.
