DNO - On January 24th, the Da Nang Infrastructure and Urban Development Investment Project Management Board announced that the construction and equipment supply and installation package for the Cam Le area waste transfer station project (Hoa Xuan ward, Cam Le district) was officially launched on January 21st, 2025. The project is being undertaken by a joint venture between SEEN Engineering JSC and Saigon Transportation Mechanical Engineering Corporation, with a winning bid of over 117.7 billion VND.

The Cam Le area waste transfer station project has a waste transfer capacity of 200 tons/day, including 2 waste compactors; 4 hooklift trucks for transporting large waste containers, 11 large waste containers; an automatic vehicle washing system, drainage ditch cleaning and workshop cleaning; an odor and exhaust gas treatment system; a vehicle weight weighing system; a bulky waste handling system, etc.
Additionally, the waste treatment facility has a reserved space for installing a third waste compactor to increase waste compaction capacity in the future.
The investment in the Cam Le area waste transfer station aims to serve the collection and transfer of waste for Cam Le district and surrounding areas, creating an effective waste transfer solution to synchronize and complete the waste collection network in the city; addressing environmental sanitation and landscape issues; and aligning with the city's orientation to improve infrastructure and mechanize waste collection.
The construction and equipment supply and installation package for the Cam Le area waste transfer station project will be completed after 8 months (240 days) from January 21, 2025.
