Construction of the road connecting National Highway 17B with Hai Phong to start in July 2025

The Investment Project to build a road connecting National Highway 17B (Hai Duong Province) with Provincial Road 352 (Hai Phong City) is expected to start construction in July 2025.

According to the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, the Project to invest in the construction of the road connecting National Highway 17B ( Hai Duong Province) with Provincial Road 352 (Hai Phong City) from National Highway 17B to Kinh Thay River embankment, Kinh Mon Town is in the stage of construction drawing design. The project will be organized for bidding in the near future, expected to start construction in July 2025.

The project is invested by the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, with a total investment of more than 786 billion VND. The implementation period is in the period of 2024 - 2026.

The total length of the route is about 7.22 km. The starting point intersects with National Highway 17B in Long Xuyen Ward (Kinh Mon). The end point connects with the right dike of Kinh Thay River (at about km47+950) in Minh Hoa Commune (Kinh Mon), ensuring connection with the planned scope of construction of the Kinh Thay River overpass according to the planning invested and built by Hai Phong City.

Phase 1 investment divergence with a roadbed scale of 12 m, road surface of 11 m; construction of drainage system, intersection items, lighting, trees, signaling system, other related infrastructure...

The investment in the construction of the above route aims to form an inter-regional traffic axis connecting Hai Duong and Hai Phong, serving the needs of travel and transport of goods between the two localities; expanding the urban development space of Kinh Mon town, facilitating investment attraction and effective exploitation of land funds according to the planning, creating a driving force for socio -economic development of Kinh Mon town in particular and Hai Duong province in general.
