Proposal to invest 786 billion VND to build a road connecting National Highway 17B of Hai Duong province with Hai Phong city

Hai Duong considers investing in building a road connecting National Highway 17B (Hai Duong province) with Provincial Road 352 (Hai Phong city) from National Highway 17B to Kinh Thay river dyke (illustrative photo)

The information is stated in the report of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province at the 23rd session of the People's Council of Hai Duong province, term XVII, on the proposal to decide on the investment policy for the project to invest in building a road connecting National Highway 17B (Hai Duong province) with Provincial Road 352 ( Hai Phong city).

The project has a starting point connecting to National Highway 17B at about km 12+500, and an end point connecting to the right dike of Kinh Thay River (at about km 47+950). Connected to the planned construction site of Kinh Thay River Bridge (co-invested by Hai Duong Province and Hai Phong City). The total length of the route is about 7.22 km. The project implementation location is in Kinh Mon town (Hai Duong).

The total investment of the project is expected to be over 786 billion VND from Hai Duong province's budget. Implementation period is from 2024 to 2026.

The investment objective is to build a connecting route, forming an inter-regional traffic axis between Hai Duong province and Hai Phong city and serving the needs of travel and transport of goods between the two localities. At the same time, expanding the urban development space of Kinh Mon town, creating favorable conditions for attracting investment and effectively exploiting land funds.
