No notarization required when verifying land information on VNeID
People do not need notarization when verifying land information on VNeID - this is the affirmation of the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order (C06), Ministry of Public Security , to facilitate people in the process of updating land data.
According to Department C06, in the "Campaign to enrich and clean the national land database", people only need to provide a copy of the land use right certificate and citizen identification card when requested by the Working Group, without notarization. The Ministry of Public Security coordinates with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to deploy a utility on VNeID for people to self-authenticate land and housing information. The campaign aims to build a "correct-sufficient-clean-living-unified-shared" land database, serving transparent and effective management and providing online public services, contributing to the goal of connecting the entire national database by 2026.
The campaign to enrich and clean up land data will aim at three key goals. First of all, it is to create a foundation for the development of e -Government and a modern, fundamental tool for state management of land; all levels and sectors have full, fast, and accurate information to promptly make decisions on direction and management in a transparent, effective, and accountable manner.
Improve the quality of public services on land; reform and resolve administrative procedures on land for people and businesses in the electronic environment. Connect, share and synchronize the National Land Database with the national database and databases of other sectors to operate smoothly between agencies in the political system to exploit and effectively use digital resources and digital data.
On October 17, the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment held a conference to review the implementation of Plan No. 515/KH-BCA-BNN&MT (dated August 31, 2025) on launching a 90-day peak campaign to enrich and clean up the national database on land; at the same time, focusing on synchronously and seriously implementing the next tasks, ensuring 6 things are clear: clear work, clear people, clear progress, clear responsibility, clear time, clear products to ensure the completion of all goals of the 90-day campaign.
