On May 25, a source from Dan Tri reporter said that the Investigation Police Agency of Nam Sach District Police ( Hai Duong ) detained Dinh Ngoc Hai (34 years old) to investigate the crime of Resisting a person on official duty.

Previously, at around 8:00 p.m. on May 24, a working group of Nam Sach District Police on duty in the area signaled to stop a motorbike driven by Dinh Van Hai (34 years old) to check his alcohol concentration.

Dinh Van Hai did not comply and drove his car into Senior Lieutenant Tran Van Doan, a police officer of Nam Sach district, causing him to fall onto the road.

The task force promptly controlled Hai and brought him to Nam Sach District Police headquarters for questioning.

Senior Lieutenant Tran Van Doan was taken to Hai Duong General Hospital for emergency treatment and is currently in stable condition.

Alcohol concentration test for Dinh Ngoc Hai gave result of 0.605 mg/l of breath.

The Investigation Police Agency of Nam Sach District Police continues to consolidate files and documents for handling according to the provisions of law.
