Many people move to another country for a variety of reasons - whether it's to find better weather, a cheaper cost of living, or simply to experience a new culture.
Experts at UK-based migration consultancy 1st Move International have come up with a handy list of countries that have proven to be at the top of the wish list for moving to.
The organization analyzed Google's global search data and found Canada to be at the top, with a total of 269,220 searches for moving house this year, according to the Daily Mail .
This is the second year in a row that the popular destination has topped the rankings, and continues to attract people with its breathtaking natural scenery and high quality of life.

Australia came in second, with 207,900 searches from people looking to move to its beautiful beaches and relaxed lifestyle.
Meanwhile, Ireland ranked third with 179,400 searches about moving there.
New Zealand ranked fourth with 177,700 searches and Japan ranked fifth with 172,880 searches. Meanwhile, Portugal ranked sixth, Costa Rica seventh and Spain eighth.
Elsewhere, the Netherlands ranked ninth with 127,100 searches and Thailand ranked tenth with 126,960. The top 10 list did not include the United States, which is often referred to as the "American dream" for many.

Looking ahead to the year ahead, 1st Move International CEO Mike Harvey said: Canada shows no signs of slowing down, consistently performing well year after year. However, the enduring appeal of smaller, lifestyle-focused countries like Cyprus and New Zealand is particularly notable. These destinations offer a slower pace of life without compromising on opportunity, which has become increasingly important to movers over the past few years.
