(Dan Tri Newspaper) - After three years of implementation, the Hanoi Children's Palace project will officially open tomorrow (September 21st). This is one of the major projects inaugurated to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hanoi.
The Hanoi Children's Palace is being built in the CV1 regulating lake park area with a total area of nearly 40,000m2, and a construction area of over 10,000m2. Currently, all construction items have been completed and the palace will be inaugurated tomorrow (September 21st). The Hanoi Children's Palace is located on the edge of the CV1 regulating lake, adjacent to Pham Hung Street (My Dinh ward, Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi) (Photo: Google Maps). This is the largest and most modern project for children in Vietnam, built with the goal of meeting the learning, playing, entertainment, and sports training needs of children in Hanoi and throughout the country.
The project is designed around the theme "Nurturing and Developing," with two large circular buildings at its center, creating a soft, cohesive overall shape. It incorporates many novel and unique design ideas that are close to nature, making it suitable for children while also being highly educational . According to observations by Dan Tri reporters before the inauguration day, the Children's Palace grounds had been cleaned up, the trees and lawns were completed, and the signage system for the various areas within the buildings was arranged scientifically and was easy to find. According to the design, the Children's Palace includes an astronomical tower and a playground divided into two sections, A and B, connected by a stylized X-shaped bridge, creating an open, spacious, and modern space. The beautifully designed spiral staircases are located inside the buildings of the Hanoi Children's Palace.
The multi-purpose classroom system offers diverse subjects such as music , painting, martial arts, and library services, catering to a large number of students and children in Hanoi and throughout the country. Area A comprises an 800-seat multi-purpose theater, a 200-seat 3D-4D cinema, and facilities for dance and music clubs.
Area B includes office, sports and learning areas with 3 functional blocks linked together: Gymnasium, swimming pool, Administration building, astronomy tower, classroom, library. The basement has an area of about 1,200m2, including parking areas and technical rooms. The surrounding pathways and park area have also been completed. The Children's Palace has created an environmentally friendly outdoor space, combined with modern, convenient multi-functional indoor areas. This place promises to be an ideal destination not only for children in the capital but also for children from many provinces and cities across the country, as well as for visitors. The Hanoi Children's Palace project is one of many projects inaugurated in 2024, a practical way to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hanoi.
