In 2025, the Department of Standards - Metrology - Quality directed and guided units throughout the army to strictly implement the quality management of weapons, equipment, products and defense goods. The contents of the industry's work have been deployed comprehensively and synchronously, completing regular and extraordinary tasks well, with results reaching from 100% to 105% of the annual plan target, ensuring quality and efficiency.

The Department has been commended by the Chief of the General Staff for the quality of all aspects of its work, such as: Drafting and submitting for promulgation legal documents, quality inspection, quality appraisal, acceptance of weapons, equipment, and technical supplies, thereby helping the Ministry of National Defense control the quality of weapons and equipment, and improve the combat readiness of the Army.

During the year, regularity and discipline were maintained and improved, agencies and units were gradually consolidated, spacious and clean. Budget management and use were strict, effective and in accordance with regulations; the political and ideological situation of cadres, party members and the masses in the whole Department was stable, internally united and unified.

Speaking at the conference, Major General Nguyen Hoang Ngoc Dung said that in the coming time, the Department will strengthen training, coaching, and fostering to improve the professional and technical expertise of cadres and employees of key units in the entire army; thoroughly grasp, organize and resolutely and synchronously implement tasks and solutions to build a comprehensively strong and "exemplary and typical" agency and unit, associated with building a clean, strong and typical Party committee and organization.
