Towards the 80th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's letter to the industrial and commercial sector on October 13, 1945, according to the Prime Minister, the event is of great significance, aiming to express gratitude and affirm the great contributions of businesses and entrepreneurs in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
After nearly 40 years of innovation, the business community has grown strongly. To date, the country has nearly 1 million businesses, of which 98% are private enterprises), over 33,000 cooperatives following the new model and more than 5 million business households.
The Party and the State always pay special attention to, support, create favorable conditions, and create institutions and laws for the business community to develop strongly. In particular, the Politburo issued Resolution 68 on private economic development, the National Assembly issued Resolution 198, and the Government issued Resolution 138 to focus on developing private enterprises as an important driving force of the economy.
Entering a new era - the era of building a rich, civilized, happy and prosperous country, the Prime Minister stated that the Party and State wish that the pioneering business community, together with the whole country, strive to successfully achieve the two 100-year strategic goals.
Accordingly, by 2030, we strive to have about 2 million enterprises, contributing 55-58% of GDP, creating jobs for about 84-85% of the workforce, increasing labor productivity by 8.5-9.5%/year. By 2045, we will have at least 3 million enterprises, contributing over 60% of GDP, having international competitiveness, and participating deeply in the global value chain.
To achieve this goal, the Prime Minister called on the business community to continue to proactively innovate production and business models, restructure enterprises, and focus on improving management capacity and human resource quality. In particular, enterprises need to strongly apply science and technology to turn challenges into opportunities.
Along with standing firm in the domestic market, diversifying markets, products and supply chains, especially for advantageous export products... is an important solution for businesses to stabilize and develop.
