Timely rescue of 3 fishermen whose boat sank at sea in Quang Tri

(Dan Tri) - While fishing at sea, a Quang Tri fishing boat was sunk by a large wave. Fortunately, the three crew members in distress were rescued promptly by the border guards and local people.

On the afternoon of January 19, news from Hai An Border Guard Station, under the Quang Tri Border Guard Command, the unit just rescued 3 fishermen whose boat sank at sea.

At 1 p.m. the same day, three fishermen Nguyen Dinh Thuong (born 1963), Nguyen Dinh Mui (born 1968) and Nguyen Cong Trieu (born 1999), all residing in My Thuy village, Hai An commune, Hai Lang district, Quang Tri province, went out to sea on a boat.

While fishing in the sea of ​​Hai An commune, the boat was sunk by a big wave, 3 fishermen fell into a dangerous situation.

Upon receiving the news, the border guards coordinated with local people to promptly rescue and bring the victims to shore safely. The sunken boat was also towed to shore, ensuring the fishermen's property.
