Also in attendance were Heroic Vietnamese Mother Le Thi Hu, Labor Hero Ho Thi Luom; former leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, and Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; leaders of districts and cities, and units of the armed forces in the province.
At the commemoration ceremony, delegates reviewed the 80-year tradition of building, fighting, winning, and maturing of the Vietnam People's Army. Eighty years ago, on December 22, 1944, the Vietnam Propaganda and Liberation Army – the first main force and predecessor organization of the Vietnam People's Army – was established in the Tran Hung Dao forest in Nguyen Binh district, Cao Bang province. This is a historically significant event for the Vietnamese revolution, demonstrating the strategic thinking and foresight of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh .

Under the absolute and direct leadership of the Party in all aspects; with the love, support, and assistance of the people; inheriting and developing the patriotic spirit and military art of our ancestors; overcoming countless hardships and challenges; the Vietnam People's Army, together with the entire Party and people, has written glorious chapters in the struggle for national liberation, the defense of the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland, and the fulfillment of noble international obligations.

Inheriting and upholding the glorious traditions of the heroic Vietnam People's Army, the Ninh Thuan Armed Forces have always closely coordinated with all levels, sectors, and ethnic groups in the province to strive in emulation and dedication, making worthy contributions to the victory of the two strategic tasks of building and defending the Fatherland. Under the leadership and direction of the Party Committee and the Command of Military Region 5; and directly and regularly under the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, along with the close coordination and cooperation of all levels, sectors, and the people, the provincial armed forces have comprehensively implemented local defense and military tasks; actively advised on building and consolidating the all-people national defense posture associated with the people's security posture and a solid defense zone; creatively and effectively implemented socio-economic development programs associated with national defense and security; and actively participated in movements of gratitude, poverty reduction, and new rural construction. Building safe zones, developing the political system and cultural life at the grassroots level, especially in key areas, remote areas, and areas inhabited by ethnic minorities; making important contributions to maintaining political stability, promoting socio-economic development, consolidating and strengthening national unity; strengthening the people's support, potential, and the all-people national defense posture; earning the trust and admiration of the Party Committee, government, and people of the province. With these exceptionally outstanding achievements, the provincial armed forces have been commended by the Ministry of National Defense, Military Region 5, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial People's Committee for many consecutive years; and have been awarded the "Order of National Defense" First Class and the "Order of Military Merit" Third Class by the President of Vietnam...

Speaking at the ceremony, the Provincial Party Secretary affirmed that, in recent times, implementing the Party's correct leadership guidelines, the Provincial Party Committee has applied and formulated specific resolutions suitable to the province's practical conditions, thereby effectively exploiting potential, advantages, key areas, and breakthroughs, creating new momentum to promote development. Throughout this process, the leadership of the Party and State has always been trusted by cadres, Party members, the provincial armed forces, and the people. The provincial armed forces have worked together, upholding the patriotic tradition, mobilizing all resources, cultural and spiritual values, innovating, overcoming all difficulties and challenges, and together with the Party committee, government, and people, achieving many meaningful accomplishments.

Emphasizing that 2025 is of special significance, as it is the year of organizing Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, leading up to the 14th National Congress of the Party, with many important, urgent, and demanding tasks requiring greater determination, the Provincial Party Secretary expressed confidence that, under the glorious banner of the Party, with the invincible strength from the people and the heroic revolutionary tradition, the armed forces of Ninh Thuan province will excellently fulfill all assigned tasks, achieve many new victories and accomplishments, and together with the entire Party and people, build Ninh Thuan into an increasingly strong and prosperous province, contributing to the firm protection of the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam, and together with the country, enter a new era - an era of national progress.
