On the morning of October 24th, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province held a ceremony to announce decisions on personnel matters and the consolidation of leadership positions in many departments, sectors, and localities, including key departments and sectors related to economic development.
Specifically, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong province, Ho Van Muoi, presented the Decision to appoint Mr. Phan Nguyen Hoang Tan, Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chairman of the People's Council of Phu Thuy ward (Lam Dong), to work at the Department of Agriculture and Environment, and to hold the position of Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment.
Mr. Ton Thien San, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, has been transferred and appointed as Director of the Department of Finance. Mr. Phan The Hanh, the former Director of the Department of Finance, has been assigned to work at the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department and appointed as Deputy Head of the Department.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong province presented the Decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Nguyen Nhan Ban, Provincial Party Committee member and Chief of the Office of the People's Committee of Lam Dong province, to the position of Director of the Investment and Construction Project Management Board No. 1 of Lam Dong province.
Mr. Do Tan Suong, Provincial Party Committee member and Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, has been transferred and appointed as Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Chuong, Director of Investment and Construction Project Management Board No. 1, has been transferred and appointed as Deputy Director of the Department of Construction.
The above personnel appointment decisions, signed and issued by the Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong province on October 24th, are for a term of 5 years as stipulated by regulations.
According to the Department of Finance's report, in the first nine months of 2025, Lam Dong's economy is estimated to grow by 6.8%, with agricultural and industrial sectors achieving their targets; budget revenue is estimated at 23,592 billion VND, reaching 84% of the local budget estimate; total export turnover reached 2,457.9 million USD, achieving 79.8% of the plan...
However, Lam Dong province currently ranks 30th out of 34 provinces and cities nationwide in terms of disbursement. Notably, most of the disbursed capital is used for projects serving the people, such as transportation and agriculture, which have a direct impact on the people.
At the meeting of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi accepted responsibility for this matter, along with other members of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of departments and agencies, especially the Department of Finance, the Project Management Board, and the Chairmen of the People's Committees of some communes, wards, and special zones.
