Lam Dong mobilizes and appoints many directors of departments and branches

Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee announced a series of decisions to transfer and appoint leaders of key departments and branches such as Agriculture, Finance, and Construction, to consolidate the apparatus and promote local economic development.

On the morning of October 24, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee held a ceremony to announce the Decision on personnel work, perfecting leadership positions of many departments, branches, and localities, including key departments and branches related to economic development.

Specifically, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi presented the Decision to receive Mr. Phan Nguyen Hoang Tan, Provincial Party Committee member, Party Secretary, Chairman of Phu Thuy Ward People's Council (Lam Dong) to work at the Department of Agriculture and Environment, appointed to hold the position of Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment.

Mr. Ton Thien San, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, was transferred and appointed to the position of Director of the Department of Finance. Mr. Phan The Hanh, Director of the Department of Finance, was assigned to work at the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee and appointed to the position of Deputy Head of the Committee.

The Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee presented the Decision on transfer and appointment of Mr. Nguyen Nhan Ban, Provincial Party Committee member, Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee to hold the position of Director of Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 1 of Lam Dong province.

Mr. Do Tan Suong, Provincial Party Committee member and Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, was transferred and appointed to the position of Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Chuong, Director of Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 1, was transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Construction.

The above personnel appointment decisions of the Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee were signed and issued on October 24, with an appointment term of 5 years as prescribed.

According to the report of the Department of Finance, in the first 9 months of 2025, Lam Dong's economy is estimated to grow by 6.8%, the agricultural and industrial sectors will grow according to the set scenario; budget revenue is estimated at 23,592 billion VND, reaching 84% of the local estimate; total export turnover will reach 2,457.9 million USD, reaching 79.8% of the plan...

However, the current disbursement results of Lam Dong province are ranked 30th out of 34 provinces and cities nationwide. Notably, most of the disbursed capital is used for public works such as transportation, agriculture, etc., which have a direct impact on the people.

At the meeting of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi accepted this responsibility for himself and members of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of departments and branches, especially the Department of Finance, the Project Management Board, and Chairmen of the People's Committees of some communes, wards, and special zones./.
