Clarifying information about the hot air balloon carrying 9 people "crashed" in Ba Vi

On July 7, in response to information spreading on social networks about a hot air balloon carrying 9 people having to make an emergency landing on the road in Tay Dang town (Ba Vi district, Hanoi ), the authorities clarified this incident.

According to the representative of Tay Dang Town People's Committee, the hot air balloon carrying 9 people departed from Son Tay town at around 10am on July 6 for the purpose of sightseeing and promoting tourism . However, when flying to Tay Dang town, the hot air balloon suddenly encountered an accident and had to make an emergency landing in an empty lot adjacent to Provincial Road 412. The incident did not cause any casualties to the 9 people on the hot air balloon. After about 30 minutes of handling the incident, the hot air balloon was brought back to a safe location.
