Deepening Vietnam-Laos cooperation in many fields

On December 5, in Hanoi, comrade Trinh Van Quyet, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, received the delegation of the Central Committee of the Lao Front for National Construction led by comrade Inlavan Keobounphanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Vice President.

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, through comrade Inlavan Keobounphanh, comrade Trinh Van Quyet sent his best wishes to the Lao Party, State and people to continue to gain many new victories on the path of building a peaceful , independent, democratic, unified and prosperous country.

Comrade Trinh Van Quyet suggested that in the coming period, the two agencies should increase the exchange of experiences in mass mobilization work, promote the role of the Front and mass organizations in building the great national unity bloc; coordinate and share experiences in resolving petitions, strengthening people's trust in the Party and State; and step up coordination in propagating the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.

Comrade Inlavan Keobounphanh Thank you for the thoughtful reception of Comrade Trinh Van Quyet, Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission; inform about some situations and work that the Party, State and people of the two countries have carried out in the past time, especially the results of cooperation and mutual assistance during the period of fighting for independence as well as during the period of national construction and development.

Comrade Inlavan Keobounphanh suggested that in the coming time, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission should continue to create conditions and develop a plan to train and foster the team of cadres working in the press and media of Laos to improve the capacity of this force.

On the same day, comrade Pham Tat Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission chaired a working session and exchanged expertise with the delegation of the Central Committee of the Lao Front for National Construction.

The two sides exchanged experiences in the work of the Fatherland Front, mass mobilization, ethnicity and religion; the role of the Fatherland Front in building the great national unity bloc; assessed the results of cooperation between the two agencies in the past time and the content of implementation in the coming time.
