First Hot Air Balloon Festival held in Ha Long, Quang Ninh

From August 24 to the September 2 holiday, Ha Long city will organize the Sailing, Parasailing, and Jet Ski Festivals "Overcoming Ha Long Waves"; Hot Air Balloon Festival "Heritage City - Ha Long Colors" in 2024. These are events within the project "Ha Long - Festival City" with 31 festivals held annually to increase the attraction of Ha Long tourism and promote the city's image to domestic and international friends.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Son - Vice Chairman of Ha Long City People's Committee informed about the hot air balloon festival

In particular, the hot air balloon festival "Heritage City - Ha Long Colors" in 2024 with many special activities such as hot air balloon lantern night, hot air balloons decorating the ground,... will take place on September 1 and 2 at 30/10 Square (Hong Ha ward) and Ocean Park beach (Bai Chay ward).

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Son - Vice Chairman of Ha Long City People's Committee said that these festival activities will contribute to helping Quang Ninh complete the goal of welcoming 19 million visitors in 2024: "By mid-August, we have welcomed 8.5 million tourists, with the possibility of exceeding the target of 10 million visitors (including 2 million international visitors). We are making efforts with many measures, including new tourism products to attract the most tourists to Ha Long. On August 22, we will conduct a general rehearsal of the rescue plan, security and order plan and traffic safety plan so that the event on August 24 takes place in the safest way".
