First time holding Hot Air Balloon Festival in Ha Long, Quang Ninh

From August 24 to the September 2 holiday, Ha Long city will organize the "Overcoming Ha Long Waves" Sailing, Parasailing, and Jet Ski Festival; the "Heritage City - Ha Long Colors" Hot Air Balloon Festival in 2024. These are events within the "Ha Long - Festival City" project with 31 festivals held annually to increase the attraction of Ha Long tourism and promote the city's image to domestic and international friends.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Son - Vice Chairman of Ha Long City People's Committee informed about the hot air balloon festival

In particular, the hot air balloon festival "Heritage City - Colors of Ha Long" in 2024 with many special activities such as hot air balloon lantern night, hot air balloon decoration on the ground,... will take place on September 1 and 2 at 30/10 Square (Hong Ha ward) and Ocean Park beach (Bai Chay ward).

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Son - Vice Chairman of Ha Long City People's Committee said that these festival activities will contribute to helping Quang Ninh complete the goal of welcoming 19 million tourists in 2024: "By mid-August, we have welcomed 8.5 million tourists, with the possibility of exceeding the target of 10 million (including 2 million international visitors). We are making efforts with many measures, including new tourism products to attract the most tourists to Ha Long. On August 22, we will conduct a general rehearsal of rescue plans, security and order plans and traffic safety plans so that the event on August 24 takes place in the safest way."
