On the afternoon of May 29, speaking with Dan Tri reporter, the commander of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Thanh Tri District Police ( Hanoi ) said that the above fire occurred at around 2:40 p.m. the same day at the temporary shack of Ms. Bui Thi L. on Kim Giang Street, Thanh Liet Commune, Thanh Tri District.

"After receiving the news, the unit sent 2 vehicles and 15 soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire. The fire did not cause any human casualties," said the commander of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Thanh Tri District Police.
According to this person, the area where the fire broke out was a temporary shack about 15 square meters wide, used by people to sell ornamental plants, ceramics, used items, plastic pots... After about 15 minutes, the fire was controlled.
"The initial preliminary cause may be an electrical short circuit. The fire area is about 9 square meters. The incident is being further clarified," added the commander of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Thanh Tri District Police.
Some witnesses at the scene said the fire broke out right at the beginning of Dau bridge, the fire and smoke from the fire rose up, causing many people to panic.
