Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, remarked that the online interactive quiz competition "Learning about the 80th Anniversary of the First General Election to Elect the Vietnamese National Assembly," organized by the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Society in coordination with the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the National Assembly Office, has truly made a profound impact on political and social life, especially among the younger generation.

With its modern, flexible, and user-friendly format, the competition has reached a wide audience and strongly attracted the participation of youth union members and young people both domestically and internationally. This is clear evidence of the competition's appeal, as well as the sense of responsibility, enthusiasm, and interest of the younger generation in the history of the Vietnamese National Assembly.

Comrade Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union and President of the Central Council of the Young Pioneers, stated that the competition created an atmosphere of excitement, spreading the spirit of "Understanding the National Assembly - Loving the Fatherland - Living Responsibly"; helping the younger generation enhance their understanding of the National Assembly, the Constitution, and laws, arousing pride, patriotism, and the aspiration to contribute among young people. Through each participation, the younger generation has the opportunity to review history, gain a deeper understanding of the value of democracy and the people's right to self-governance; thereby, further appreciating the achievements of the nation's revolutionary struggle and the National Assembly's development over 80 years, and continuing to promote that spirit in the cause of renovation and building a prosperous and happy country.

Furthermore, organizations have strongly applied digital transformation and new examination methods. Online platforms are designed to be modern, impressive, user-friendly, and optimized for both computers and mobile devices, catering to the tastes of young people.

Throughout the 23 weeks of the first stage and 8 weeks of the second stage, the competition went beyond just questions and rounds of testing, leaving behind many important values. It provided an opportunity for each youth union member to learn about and review the constitutional and legislative history of the nation; to better understand their rights and responsibilities in exercising their civic rights, especially the right to participate in elections and monitor the activities of state power organs. Through this competition, I believe that patriotism, national pride, awareness of law compliance, and the aspiration to contribute to the nation will continue to be strongly fostered in each young person.

According to the competition organizers' report, the first phase, lasting 23 weeks, attracted 2,107,826 participants with 7,377,803 entries. This corresponds to 211% of the target for the number of participants and 246% of the target for the number of entries. The second phase, lasting 8 weeks, attracted 1,813,130 views, interactions, and comments on Facebook. The localities and units with the highest number of participants included: Youth of the Military (Military Youth Department), Nghe An, Quang Tri, and Ho Chi Minh City.

Besides the outstanding results, the Organizing Committee also acknowledged some limitations: uneven participation levels among localities; limited access to digital platforms in remote areas; weak communication efforts in some places; and sometimes unstable connectivity infrastructure. However, these difficulties also serve as valuable lessons for future online legal awareness campaigns.

Based on the practical experience of organizing the competition, the Organizing Committee proposed several solutions to improve the effectiveness of legal awareness campaigns, such as: strengthening early and continuous communication; promoting coordination among units; diversifying competition formats to suit the access habits of different target groups; strengthening traditional education activities in schools; and expanding interactive forums between National Assembly representatives and young people.
