At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee of the Da Nang City Student Scientific Research Competition 2025 awarded 2 first prizes, 2 second prizes, 4 third prizes, and 11 consolation prizes. The projects belonged to two groups of fields: Science and Technology, Medical Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry; and Social Sciences - Humanities.
The projects "MedCapSys: A high-detail brain MRI image analysis system" by authors from the Faculty of Information Technology (Da Nang University of Technology, Da Nang University) and "Application of 3D models combined with VR technology in teaching geometry in grade 5" by a group of authors from the Faculty of Primary and Preschool Education (Da Nang University of Education, Da Nang University) won first prize.
On this occasion, the City Youth Union, in coordination with the Community Fund for Disaster Prevention, awarded scholarships under the theme "For a Green Future - No student should drop out of school due to natural disasters" to 22 students with a total budget of 220 million VND; former city Youth Union officials also mobilized and supported the repair of a house for a Youth Union member (Hoa Khanh ward) worth 150 million VND.
Within the framework of the program, youth union members and young people participated in the following activities: the final round of the "Innovative Startup Ideas - Light up your creativity" competition in 2025; booths showcasing OCOP products from commune and ward youth unions; and an exhibition of startup products and winning student scientific research ideas.
Simultaneously, the Innovation Startup Support Workshop, themed "Ready for Challenges and Opportunities," shared information with young people about: the development of Da Nang's innovation startup ecosystem in the 2022-2025 period, orientations and development for the 2026-2030 period; the journey of commercializing innovative startup products in the agriculture and medicinal plant sector; improving access to capital from investment funds; and the role and actions of colleges and universities in connecting the innovation startup ecosystem.
The festival aims to spread the "Youth Innovation" movement, promote entrepreneurial activities and innovation among youth union members, young people, and students; and create a space for young people to interact, exchange ideas, and access exemplary innovative models and products.
