On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024), on the morning of July 27, a delegation from the Central Committee of the Communist Party, the President, the National Assembly, the Government, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front laid wreaths in commemoration of the heroic martyrs at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs (Bac Son Street, Hanoi ) and visited the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh.

Attending the memorial ceremony were members of the Politburo : President To Lam; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man; Standing Member of the Secretariat Luong Cuong; Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party and Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien.

Former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh; former Chairpersons of the National Assembly : Nguyen Sinh Hung, Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Vuong Dinh Hue; members of the Politburo, Secretaries of the Central Committee of the Party, Vice Presidents, Vice Chairpersons of the National Assembly, Deputy Prime Ministers, along with many leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, central committees, ministries, branches, and mass organizations, attended the memorial ceremony.

With profound respect and boundless gratitude, the delegation bowed in remembrance of the heroic martyrs – the outstanding sons and daughters of the nation who sacrificed their lives for their homeland and country. The wreath laid by the delegation bore the inscription "Forever grateful to the heroic martyrs."

Throughout the revolutionary journey of the Party and the nation, with the aspiration and belief in the truth that "Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom," and the spirit of "Fighting to the death for the Fatherland," generations of outstanding sons and daughters of Vietnam have bravely volunteered to go to the battlefield, fought heroically, and sacrificed themselves to fulfill their duties, for the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland, and for the peace and happiness of the people.

For the past 77 years, the Party, the State, and the people of Vietnam have always paid attention to and cared for the work of showing gratitude to those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution and the relatives of martyrs.

This has spread the traditional values ​​and good morals of the nation, while also demonstrating the gratitude of the entire political system with all sincerity and the highest sense of responsibility, contributing to improving the material and spiritual lives of policy beneficiaries, creating great spiritual motivation for the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland.

Following this, the Party and State leaders laid wreaths and paid their respects at the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh. The wreath from the delegation bore the inscription "Forever grateful to the great President Ho Chi Minh."

On the morning of the same day, delegations from the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense; the Central Public Security Party Committee - Ministry of Public Security; the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; the Hanoi City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee... came to lay wreaths and pay respects at the Monument to the Heroes and Martyrs and visited the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh.
