In particular, the Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater organized an art program with the theme "Round Footprints on the Sand" at 8:00 p.m. on July 23, at the Hanoi Opera House. With the meaning of paying tribute to the soldiers who wrote many heroic pages of the nation's history, the art program "Round Footprints on the Sand" includes 3 chapters: "Nine years of Dien Bien, the red flower crown, the golden history", "Red Flower River", "Immortal Stone Wall". In the program, the last chapter tells about the soldiers who fought to the end to protect every inch of the Fatherland in the Southwest and Northern borders. The music and dance performances were all elaborately staged, containing a strong message about the courage and heroic sacrifice for the Fatherland of the previous generation.
The program has the participation of Meritorious Artist Thanh Lam, Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan, singers Tung Duong, Pham Thu Ha, Viet Danh, Phuong Mai, Hue Thuong, Trung Sy, Thoi Gian group, Phuong Nam group, May dance group... In particular, musician Truong Quy Hai - author of many songs about soldiers who sacrificed their lives to protect the Fatherland, will appear in the exchange program and recount memories on the battlefield.
* Meanwhile, the Vietnam Circus Federation organized the art program "Going with the years 2023" at the Central Circus (67-69 Tran Nhan Tong, Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi), taking place at 8:00 p.m. on July 17, 4:30 p.m. on July 22 and 10:00 a.m. on July 23.
This is the 5th time that the Vietnam Circus Federation has staged and performed an art program about returning to the roots and repaying gratitude through the language of circus. "Going with the years 2023" was written and staged by People's Artist Tong Toan Thang with the participation of a strong cast of artists from all 3 performing troupes.
The program consists of 2 parts: Part 1 is the activities of gratitude and gift giving to families of war invalids, martyrs and veterans. Part 2 is an art program with carefully staged and attractive performances and scenes.
Specifically, the scene “Cuc oi!” (in memory of 10 female youth volunteers who sacrificed at Dong Loc T-junction) was awarded the Excellence Award at the National Festival of Best Stage Arts in 2023. Through acrobatics, contortion, rope swinging, balancing, arm strength, etc., the scene recreated the story and heroic sacrifice of 10 female youth volunteers during the resistance war. The scene “Round Footprints on the Sand” depicts the image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers with the spirit of “disabled but not useless”, expressed through exciting juggling and unicycle riding performances.
The “Le Anh Nuoi” scene is about the contributions of the feeding and supply forces in the resistance war. The “Faraway Island” scene depicts the image of navy soldiers guarding the sea and islands of the Fatherland, expressed through pole climbing and acrobatic performances…
