This morning (October 17), the solemn opening session of the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term took place at the National Convention Center ( Hanoi ). General Secretary and President To Lam, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man attended.

Attending the Congress were 1,052 delegates, representing classes, strata of people, ethnic groups, religions, armed forces, overseas Vietnamese and Front officials at all levels, representing the typical image of the Great National Unity bloc.

General Secretary andPresident To Lam and other Party and State leaders attended.

Also attending was former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien.

Standing member of the Secretariat Luong Cuong was also present at the Congress this morning.

Former Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.

Former Standing Member of the Secretariat Le Hong Anh.

Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac.

Former Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan.

Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang.

Also attending the Congress were former Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, former National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, along with Politburo members, former Politburo members, Party Central Committee Secretaries, former Party Central Committee Secretaries; revolutionary veterans, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the Armed Forces, Labor Heroes; Ambassadors, leaders of a number of diplomatic missions and international organizations in Hanoi.
