Consulting on adjusting the planning of Tuyen Quang province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050

Attending the conference were comrade Mai Duc Thong, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Tuyen Quang Newspaper and Radio and Television; Do Van Hung, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee and delegates, leaders of 7 communes: Tan My, Tan An, Trung Ha, Can Ty, Bach Dich, Yen Minh and Thang Mo.

The leaders of the People's Committees of the communes reported and gave their opinions on the adjustment of the planning of Tuyen Quang province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050. At the same time, they proposed to adjust the general planning scheme of communes, commune administrative centers, commercial centers, central markets, industrial parks; planning of concentrated agricultural production areas, planning of tourism development, waste treatment areas, planning of residential land, cemetery land, etc. At the same time, they discussed and proposed a number of contents and plans to ensure that the planning is suitable to the practical situation of each locality. They requested the province to prioritize resources to develop infrastructure to meet development requirements in the new period.

Delegates attending the conference discussed and analyzed the strengths of each locality; at the same time, they asked communes to continue reviewing previous planning to have more suitable adjustment plans.

Concluding the conference, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Hau Minh Loi requested the communes to closely follow Decision 369/QD-TTg in 2024 approving the Planning of the Northern midland and mountainous region for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 issued by the Prime Minister; closely follow the development policies and orientations of the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress for the term 2025-2030 and the general planning of the province. In particular, there is a plan to set long-term and sustainable development goals, focusing on comprehensive development of sectors and fields such as: Trade and services, tourism, culture, education , health... In particular, there is a plan to preserve and maintain national cultural identity associated with tourism and service development; focus on building typical products of each locality.

Along with that, it is necessary to review locations and areas at risk of landslides, re-plan clusters and residential areas to ensure safety for people, prevent natural disasters, storms and floods. It is necessary to determine that planning needs to have a long-term vision, ensuring development goals in the new period after the reorganization of communes and in accordance with the general development plan of the province in the future.
