On the afternoon of January 25th, Le Quyen posted an apology on her personal page regarding the incident of announcing the results at the 2023 Lan Song Xanh Awards ceremony. The singer stated that she had just woken up and quickly spoke out to explain her unintentional action.
Le Quyen shared that before presenting the award, the organizers gave her and singer Thu Phuong two envelopes. According to the numbering on the envelopes, Thu Phuong was to read the results first, followed by Le Quyen.
According to the singer, at the time, she was not informed by the organizers that there would be a presentation of the nominations before the results were announced, which led to the "hasty" and controversial situation.

Le Quyen further explained: "When the two of us went on stage, Ms. Phuong (singer Thu Phuong - PV) finished reading and invited everyone to come up and receive their awards, and I just thought she would read the second result that I was holding."
It was late when I went on stage, and my biggest fear was wasting time, so when I saw the results and that Van Mai Huong had won again, I was so happy that I read it right away. I didn't know that the beginning didn't have a nomination list, but the later part did. I wasn't told about this beforehand either."
Le Quyen also said that the event ended later than expected. When she left, no one said anything, and only when she got home did she find out that she needed to wait for the list of nominees to be shown.
The singer, born in 1981, wrote: "I apologize to the nominees and the Organizing Committee. Please understand, due to a misunderstanding, this unintentionally caused an incident for the program."

Previously, at the Lan Song Xanh 2023 awards ceremony held on the evening of January 24th, Le Quyen was a guest presenter announcing the results for the Song of the Year category.
According to the script, before Le Quyen announced the results, the two MCs, Gil Le and Tuyen Tang, were to go through the list of nominees in this category. However, just as Gil Le was about to read the nomination, Le Quyen unexpectedly tore open the envelope containing the results and immediately announced the winner as singer Van Mai Huong, despite the two MCs repeatedly calling her name to remind her.
