Expected 2025 Lunar New Year holiday schedule for students in 63 provinces and cities

(Dan Tri) - Among 63 provinces and cities, 1 province plans to let students have up to 17 days off for the Lunar New Year 2025.

According to the 2024-2025 school year schedule of 63 provinces and cities, the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday schedule for students is different in each locality.

Up to now, there are 15 localities that have finalized the holiday time and detailed number of days off including: Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Quang Ninh, Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Ha Tinh, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Nong, Long An, Tra Vinh , Tay Ninh, Soc Trang, Binh Phuoc.

Among these, the province that gives students the most days off is Kon Tum with 17 days. The province that gives students the least days off is Long An with 10 days.

In addition, there are 3 provinces that have set the number of Tet holidays at 2 weeks (equivalent to 14 days), but have not yet set the specific time off, including Ninh Thuan, Tien Giang , and Kien Giang.

The remaining localities shall comply with state regulations in the Labor Law and local guidance documents.
