On the morning of October 27, Vietnam International Digital Week 2025 (VIDW 2025) opened in Ninh Binh province.
This year's event highlights strategies, policies and legal frameworks to ensure the development and governance of AI in a safe, transparent and responsible manner.
The event series opened with a display of unmanned aerial vehicles researched and manufactured in Vietnam.

Drone Hera is a product researched and developed by Vietnamese people, has received high international appreciation and is present at the product display area today.
This is a line of drones designed and manufactured by Realtime Robotics Vietnam (RtR) - a domestic technology enterprise.

The device has a maximum flight time of 56 minutes without a payload, 50 minutes with a 1kg payload and 16 minutes with a 15kg payload. Thanks to its flexible and powerful performance, Hera is widely used in the fields of security, defense, rescue and industry. (Photo: Dao Hung)
The HORUS PO2 long-range observation aircraft manufactured by a Vietnamese enterprise continues to be introduced to hundreds of domestic and international guests.

Thanks to its vertical take-off and landing capability, the HORUS PO2 can operate in any environment without the need for a launch pad or runway. The device has a wingspan of 2,400 mm, an operating altitude of 5,000 m above sea level and can withstand wind force 5.

Drones of the Air Defense - Air Force Technical Institute were also displayed and introduced at the event. These are devices used as flying targets for medium and short-range air defense missiles, and as intercepting flying targets for fighter aircraft.

Initiated in 2019, Vietnam International Digital Week has become one of the most prestigious annual forums on digital transformation in the region.
In 2025, under the chairmanship of the Ministry of Science and Technology , Vietnam International Digital Week continues to affirm its role as a strategic connection platform, bringing together policymakers, international organizations, experts and leading technology businesses.

The highlight of the program was the Ministerial Roundtable on AI Governance held on the morning of October 27. The conference aims to create a high-level forum for stakeholders to share experiences, initiatives and policies on responsible AI governance.

The conference contributes to affirming Vietnam's proactive role, initiatives and commitments in international cooperation in science, technology, innovation and digital transformation.
Within the framework of the event, other conferences, workshops and forums will be held, focusing on 6 key topics: 5G, digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, digital human resources and digital technology enterprises.
