At the end of the session on November 4, the VN-Index decreased by 10 points (-0.81%), closing at 1,244 points.
Stock investors continued to be cautious as they entered the new trading week. After a slight green color in the first minutes of the morning session on November 4, large-cap stocks retreated deep into the red price zone and spread this color to many other stocks.
Although demand increased slightly in the afternoon session, the cash flow did not spread. The market only somewhat narrowed the decline.
On the first trading day of the week, the stock groups that decreased the most in price were banking, steel, retail... Meanwhile, the stock group increased in price.
Notably, in the group of 30 large stocks (VN30), there were 23 stocks closing in red such as TPB (-2.9%), GVR (-2.3%), VPB (-2.2%), HDB (-1.9%), VIB (-1.9%) ...
At the end of the session, VN-Index decreased by 10 points (-0.81%), closing at 1,244 points. Liquidity increased with 588 million shares matched on the HoSE floor.
Dragon Capital Securities Company (VDSC) commented that liquidity increased compared to the previous session, showing that supply is putting pressure on stock prices. The market is expected to continue to be supported at the 1,240 point area in the next trading session and may recover.
"Investors need to observe market developments, wait for signs of increased cash flow, and consider keeping the portfolio proportion at a reasonable level to prevent risks" - VDSC recommends.
According to ACBS Securities Company, if VN-Index cannot recover above 1,250 points, this proves that the selling pressure of stocks is still strong and will put pressure on the market. Therefore, in the coming time, the 1,240 - 1,250 point area will be an important milestone to confirm the next trend of VN-Index.
