On the morning of May 3, although it was the 4th day of the holiday, the atmosphere at Tuan Chau International Passenger Port was still very bustling. Many domestic and international tourist groups arrived early to wait for the time to board the ship to visit Ha Long Bay. Among them was a group of nearly 50 tourists from Poland. After enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of the opening ceremony of the Ha Long Carnival 2025, the group spent a whole day visiting the world heritage site of Ha Long Bay.

Marta, a member of the group, shared: All I can say is that everything is wonderful. We have had many interesting experiences in the past days in this beautiful coastal city. And now we are eager to visit the magnificent caves that we have only seen in pictures or videos on the internet.

Ensuring safety for tourists visiting Ha Long Bay during peak days is of particular concern to authorities.

Since the beginning of the holiday, many accommodation establishments in Ha Long city have recorded a sharp increase in the number of foreign visitors. Mr. Nguyen Dinh Chinh, Director of Muong Thanh Luxury Quang Ninh, said: During this holiday, the number of foreign visitors staying at our hotel has increased compared to normal days, mainly from Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan (China), and Europe. Compared to the same period last year, it increased by 15%, compared to before the holiday, it increased by 30%. We have prepared adequate facilities and human resources, with visitors' impressive views of the hotel also contributing to building the image of Ha Long tourism and Quang Ninh province in general.

During the past 4 days of the holiday, the total number of tourists to Ha Long City reached more than 580,000, including 37,300 international visitors. Attractions that have proven attractive to foreign visitors include Ha Long Bay, Sun World Amusement Park, Quang Ninh Museum, etc. According to information from the Ha Long Bay Management Board, 26,700 international visitors visited the bay from April 30 to May 3.
