Feast your eyes on the record-breaking national flag-laying performance of 5,000 people at My Dinh Stadium

On the morning of August 12, Dan Tri newspaper successfully organized the Dan Tri Yoga Festival event at My Dinh Stadium ( Hanoi ).

The most impressive part of the event was the national flag formation of 5,000 yogis (people who love and practice yoga) covering the entire My Dinh stadium.

To create this unique flag arrangement, the organizing committee spent many days calculating and arranging more than 5,000 red and yellow square pieces of fabric and mobilized more than 100 collaborators to rehearse all night on August 11.

The unity and determination of 5,000 yogis on the field following the instructions of the instructor on stage brought about the most amazing results.

The entire My Dinh Stadium was covered with the red flag with yellow star. Many people in the stands were moved to tears when they saw the image of the largest Vietnamese flag ever appear before their eyes.

Before that, at 7:30 a.m., the Organizing Committee successfully organized a yoga performance by 5,000 yogis.

This is also a record for the number of participants and performers at the largest yoga event ever in Vietnam.

Mr. Sandeep Arya - Ambassador of India to Vietnam - performed basic yoga movements on the field with other yoga enthusiasts.

Ms. Le Thi Hoang Yen - Deputy Director of the Department of Sports and Physical Training - also wore a uniform and practiced with everyone on the field.

This morning, nearly 10 beauty queens and runners-up of major competitions in Vietnam also participated in the event such as: Miss Intercontinental 2022 Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc; Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 Doan Thien An; 2nd runner-up Miss World Vietnam 2022 Nguyen Phuong Nhi...

Not only did members of yoga clubs across the country gather at the event, the organizers also welcomed hundreds of elderly people and children to join the performance this morning.

The yoga performance lasted about 5 minutes with basic movements: 5,000 yogis sat in meditation together, then stood up, clasped their hands in front of their chest, and relaxed their entire body.

Then, 5,000 yogis continued to perform movements such as warrior, cobra, inverted V, mountain, plank, high mountain, chair... to the music of Volunteer.

On the evening of August 11, despite heavy rain in Hanoi, the organizers arranged 5,000 mats to cover the entire surface of My Dinh Stadium to serve the mass performance this morning.

On behalf of the Vietnam Record Association, Mr. Ngo Quang Xuan - former Ambassador of Vietnam to the United Nations, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Record Association, President of the Global Vietnamese Record Organization - presented the official decision to establish the Vietnam Record with "The yoga performance with the largest number of participants at the same time in Vietnam" to Mr. Pham Tuan Anh - Editor-in-Chief of Dan Tri newspaper.

In particular, during the Dan Tri Yoga Festival, the program also set another record: "The most participated Vietnamese flag formation performance in Vietnam".
