Ms. Dang Kim Tram and Ms. Dang Hien Tram, daughters of pharmacist Doan Ngoc Tram, expressed their grief with the heartfelt cry, "Mother!".
The heartfelt call, "Mom!" carries with it an immense longing and affection.
Many close friends shared their condolences with the family, with comments such as: "This photo shows her smiling so kindly, I pray her soul will go to a beautiful place like this"; "Her kind image will live forever in my heart"; "Missing her"; "Love and peace!".
"I know that everyone will eventually have to leave for another world , but it's hard for anyone to accept this separation. However, I always hope that you and your family will try to suppress your grief so that she can be reborn in the Western Paradise...", a family member expressed.
With deep respect and sorrow for her, journalist Nguyen Nhu Mai shared a very emotional message: "Mourning the passing of Mother Tram! I just learned that Mother Doan Ngoc Tram has passed away to the afterlife. Mother Tram was a Heroic Mother who gave birth to a heroic child: Martyr Dang Thuy Tram. I had the good fortune to be close friends with Thuy. When Thuy passed away, I visited her. She still recognized me, even my pen name and my writings. And I know she cherished me very much."
My family compiled poems about Dang Thuy Tram: "Fire from her heart . " My poem about Thuy was chosen to be printed right after the first one. Tram's mother signed this book for me. Now she has passed away. How much I miss a respected mother, an intellectual and wise woman. May she rest in peace in the afterlife and be reunited with her daughter, Dang Thuy Tram."
Ms. Doan Ngoc Tram was born on December 23, 1925, in Dai Loc District, Quang Nam Province. She was a lecturer at Hanoi University of Pharmacy and the wife of surgeon Dang Ngoc Khue (1916 - 1999).
Mr. and Mrs. Doan Ngoc Tram had three daughters, all named after the same person: Dang Thuy Tram (martyr), Dang Kim Tram, and Dang Hien Tram.
According to her family, in her final days, Ms. Doan Ngoc Tram suffered a stroke and was treated at Hospital 354. Despite the doctors' dedicated care, due to her advanced age and frail health, she did not survive. She passed away early this morning, April 16th, due to old age and weakness.
