During the reception ceremony for the artists at Thi Nghe Nursing Home on the morning of February 27, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Duong Anh Duc said that when he was a child, his grandparents and parents sat watching the plays performed by artist Kim Cuong and everyone cried.

And he believes that the role of artists is very important in creating spiritual food to serve the people. They have brought people joy, refreshment and life lessons through good scripts.

The city always appreciates

Mr. Duong Anh Duc emphasized that our city has the slogan: Civilized, modern and most importantly, affectionate. "Our city must do everything with integrity, always showing gratitude to those who have contributed to the city's development" - Mr. Duc said.

And he also said that the leaders always respect veteran artists who have contributed to and served the people.

When they are old and weak, facing difficulties, showing love and affection to them is always necessary.

It can be said that for the first time in Thi Nghe Nursing Center, there is a building (A6) dedicated to artists.

The house has 10 rooms, five artists from the Ho Chi Minh City Stage Artists Nursing Home including Dieu Hien, Ngoc Dang, Ngoc Be, Lam Son, stage worker Dang Thi Xuan and two artists Mac Can and Huynh Thanh Tra "opened" this house.

On the afternoon of February 26, the artists moved in. Mr. Duc said he was very happy to hear the leader of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs report that the artists slept very well last night.

With a quiet, spacious space, lots of trees and a central location, he hopes the artists will have a long time living happily and healthily here.

This place is also very convenient for audiences and artists to visit and chat with veteran artists.

She said: "This is not just a worship with normal spiritual meaning, but for many of us artists, Mrs. Phung Ha and the senior artists hold an extremely sacred and solemn position in the hearts of the artists."

Ms. Thuy expressed her gratitude for the listening and sharing of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, Thi Nghe Nursing Center to support the placement of the altar for the ancestors.

The department's leaders said that in the coming time, the department will continue to coordinate with the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association to monitor, pay attention to the health situation, and encourage the artists to feel secure living in their new place.

After the project to reorganize Thi Nghe Nursing Center is approved, the department will coordinate with the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Literature and Arts Associations and the city's literature and arts associations to continue reviewing and promptly propose to foster artists who meet the prescribed criteria.
