A transmission project finished nearly 2 months early

With the successful energization, the project of installing 110 kV horizontal capacitor banks at the 220 kV Xuan Mai transformer station was completed 2 months ahead of schedule.

With the successful energization, the project of installing 110 kV horizontal capacitor banks at the 220 kV Xuan Mai transformer station was completed 2 months ahead of schedule.

Power Transmission Company 1 (PTC1) has coordinated with relevant units to successfully energize the project of installing 110 kV shunt capacitor banks at the 220 kV Xuan Mai transformer station, Quoc Oai, Hanoi .

The project belongs to group C, level II, started on December 26, 2024, and was scheduled to be completed before April 30, 2025. However, with the efforts of all parties, the project was completed nearly 2 months ahead of schedule.

The early completion of the project has contributed to increasing the power transmission capacity, supporting the Northern power system after energizing the 500 kV line 3, Quang Trach - Pho Noi.

Contractors participating in the project implementation include Power Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company 1 (survey consulting, preparation of Feasibility Study Report), Maxline Construction Investment Joint Stock Company (construction, installation), VETT-VENGY Joint Venture (supplying materials and services), and Energy Consulting Joint Stock Company (supervision).

During the construction process, despite many difficulties such as cold and rainy weather, Lunar New Year, and complex technical requirements, PTC1 and the contractors showed high determination and worked tirelessly to ensure the progress and quality of the project.
