On November 2, Bcons Construction Investment Joint Stock Company (Bcons) held the opening ceremony of Bcons City Commercial Center, located right on the Bcons City project campus on Thong Nhat Street (Dong Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).
The project is conveniently located next to Ho Chi Minh City National University, near the new Eastern Bus Station and key metro lines, creating a great advantage in transportation. The average selling price of an apartment is only from 2-2.5 billion VND for a 1-2 bedroom apartment, suitable for people with a fairly average income.
Sharing with Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Le Nhu Thach, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bcons, said that the investment in utility works at this project is aimed at the sole goal of "serving real residents".
He emphasized that Bcons' philosophy is "creating real value", so all projects are built to serve residential needs instead of speculation. "Therefore, immediately after handover, the project was quickly filled with 100% of residents" - Mr. Thach said.

According to Mr. Le Nhu Thach, in the context of escalating input costs, Bcons is still determined to develop affordable housing, ensuring quality of life and amenities for residents. “We were born in difficult times, clearly understanding the dream of having a house for low-income people. Therefore, Bcons builds houses for people to live in, not chasing speculation or short-term profits” - he shared.
In response to the question about many investors increasing apartment prices to over 100 million VND/m², Mr. Thach affirmed that Bcons has not changed its strategy. “If there is a price adjustment, it is only due to increased input costs, especially taxes and investment approval costs. But our philosophy remains unchanged: real housing, real value, and affordable prices,” he emphasized.
Explaining the ability to control costs, Mr. Thach said that Bcons owns an ecosystem of 5-6 member companies, directly responsible for construction, sales, and operational management. Thanks to that, each company only needs a small portion of profit to maintain operations, helping to reduce overall costs and maintain reasonable selling prices. "Bcons does not build houses to show off the flashy exterior, but focuses on the quality inside the apartment - where residents truly feel the value of life" - he added.
Mr. Thach believes that the Government 's support policy will be an important factor in helping to cool down housing prices. "If the real supply can be increased, especially in the affordable segment, real estate prices will certainly gradually stabilize," he said.
Bcons is currently implementing two new projects in Binh Duong , with a total of 3,600 apartments.
