A new Slender Man game is in development

According to Insider Gaming , game studio Blue Isle Studios recently surprised everyone by releasing a teaser trailer hinting at a new Slender Man game currently in development.

The video is only 13 seconds long and doesn't offer much information about the upcoming game; however, a new countdown timer has been added to the studio's website, suggesting the game will be announced at the end of next month.

The new game will be a successor to Slender: The Arrival. The previous installment was first released on PC in 2013 and subsequently on various other platforms, including PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Wii U.

Upon its release, Slender: The Arrival received mixed reviews, with critics praising the sound design, tense atmosphere, and jump scares, but also criticizing the game's short playtime and repetitive, unoriginal gameplay.

However, this horror game has achieved tremendous success with the gaming community. Popular YouTubers like PewDiePie and Markiplier have experienced and shared various videos about the game, with these videos about Slender : The Arrival receiving tens of millions of views.

It's still uncertain whether the teaser is hinting at a new game or a remake; fans will likely have to wait until the countdown ends on July 28th to find out for sure.
