Fatherland Front of Chuong My ward: "bridge" between the Party, government and people

HNP - On September 19, Chuong My ward held the 1st Congress of the Fatherland Front for the 2025-2030 term, affirming its determination to unite, innovate, and develop sustainably. Attending the Congress were Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City Pham Anh Tuan and 198 delegates representing all walks of life from 51 villages and residential groups in the area.

The political report presented to the Congress showed that, in the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chuong My ward gathered and mobilized people of all walks of life to actively participate in implementing the Party's guidelines and resolutions, the State's policies and laws; did a good job of grasping public opinion, uniting religions, supervising and providing social criticism.

Patriotic emulation movements and the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" achieved many outstanding results: 100% of weddings, more than 96% of funerals and 10 traditional festivals followed a civilized lifestyle; people donated land and contributed more than 15 billion VND to build welfare works.

In addition, the Fatherland Front of Chuong My ward also focuses on social security work, mobilizing more than 1.4 billion VND to support the "For the Poor" Fund, building and repairing 115 houses, supporting 500 poor students to overcome difficulties; by 2025, there will be no more poor households, and the number of near-poor households will be reduced to 155 households. The activities "Repaying gratitude", "For the homeland's sea and islands" also mobilized more than 2.7 billion VND...

Entering the 2025-2030 term, the Fatherland Front of Chuong My ward determined to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation; promote democracy, protect the legitimate rights of the people; strengthen supervision, social criticism, prevent corruption and negativity; promote digital transformation, improve the capacity of the staff. The Fatherland Front of Chuong My ward strives to annually organize at least 3 supervision programs, 3 social criticism sessions; 2 sessions to contribute ideas to Party and government building; 1 dialogue conference between cadres, party members, members with Party committees and authorities at the same level; 100% of residential areas organize the National Great Unity Day; each residential area has at least one typical project or work associated with the task of socio -economic development, ensuring security and order...

Speaking at the Congress, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City Pham Anh Tuan praised and acknowledged the outstanding results that the Fatherland Front of Chuong My Ward has achieved in recent times, especially the patriotic emulation movements, caring for social security, repaying gratitude, mobilizing support for the Fund "For the Poor", the Fund "Vietnam Sea and Islands"..., thereby affirming the role of "bridge" between the Party, the government and the people.

Comrade Pham Anh Tuan emphasized that the 2025-2030 term opens up many opportunities, but also poses new requirements, requiring the Fatherland Front of Chuong My ward to be highly determined and strongly innovate the content and methods of operation. The Front needs to continue to promote its central role in gathering and building the great national unity bloc, strengthening social consensus, closely connecting with Party committees and authorities; at the same time, promoting digital transformation, applying information technology in propaganda, grasping the thoughts and aspirations of the people.

In addition, the Fatherland Front of Chuong My ward needs to improve the effectiveness of campaigns and emulation movements associated with building civilized urban areas, protecting the environment, promoting traditional cultural values; focusing on discovering and replicating good models and effective practices. The Fatherland Front of the ward must be more substantive in the work of social supervision and criticism, promptly advising the Party Committee, coordinating with the government to resolve the legitimate rights of the people; well preparing for the election of National Assembly deputies and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

Comrade Pham Anh Tuan believes that the Fatherland Front of Chuong My ward will excellently complete its goals and tasks, contributing to building the ward to be increasingly rich, beautiful, civilized and modern.
