Nam Nhun (Lai Chau): Supporting costumes and props, contributing to promoting folk cultural and artistic activities

With the goal of preserving and promoting national cultural identity in the spirit of Resolution 5 of the 8th Central Committee, especially preserving the cultural beauty of ethnic minorities; to concretize the implementation of preserving and promoting unique traditional cultural values ​​for the Mang and Cong ethnic groups under Project 9: Investing in the development of very small ethnic minority groups and ethnic groups with many difficulties under the National Target Program on socio -economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the period 2021-2030;

Nam Nhun District People's Committee has developed a plan and implemented support for art troupes and cultural houses in Hua Bum, Nam Ban, Trung Chai, Nam Pi, Nam Hang, and Nam Cha communes.

Accordingly, there are 15 performing arts teams that are eligible to support costumes and props and 12 village cultural houses that are eligible to support equipment. At the performing arts teams, the main support content is costumes and dance props such as shoes, hairpins, handpins, dance trays, dance hats, dance scarves, and drums. At the cultural houses, the equipment provided is: mobile speakers, podiums, stainless steel chairs, cultural house celebration decoration sets, cultural house conference tables, etc.

Through the support programs, it will contribute to popularizing, building and developing the folk cultural and artistic movement of ethnic minorities in general, and the Cong and Mang ethnic groups in particular, promoting cultural and artistic activities of local grassroots folk art teams, practically contributing to the socio-economic development of ethnic minority areas.

At the same time, create conditions for traditional folk art troupes to stage and perform art programs serving political tasks, cultural and social events, holidays and anniversaries, meeting the spiritual and cultural enjoyment needs of the majority of local people.
