(CLO) On November 13th, the Ministry of Information and Communications organized a training conference to enhance communication capacity on policies and laws related to responsible business practices for reporters and editors from central media agencies.
At the event, Mr. Ho Hong Hai, Deputy Director of the Legal Department of the Ministry of Information and Communications, emphasized the importance of the national action program on responsible business practices - an initiative officially approved by Decision No. 843/QD-TTg signed by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang on July 14, 2023.

This program sets a strategic goal of improving policies and laws to promote responsible business practices during the period 2023-2027. Specifically, the program focuses on raising awareness and improving law enforcement capacity, while reviewing and updating policies to ensure that business activities not only promote economic growth but also minimize negative impacts on the environment and society.
To implement the program's objectives, the Ministry of Information and Communications, in coordination with the Ministry of Justice and other relevant ministries and agencies, organized this conference, aiming to equip reporters and editors with the necessary skills to convey accurate, objective, and comprehensive information about responsible business practices.
At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Quang Hoa from the Academy of Journalism and Communication shared practical skills in writing articles on the topic of promoting responsible business practices, helping to improve the quality of content when informing the public.
Through this training session, reporters and editors will play a crucial role in positively and truthfully conveying the government's policies on responsible business, while also supporting the Ministry of Information and Communications in raising awareness among businesses and the community about the importance of sustainable business practices.
