At about 8:00 a.m. on December 5, a fire broke out at a factory used as a warehouse for storing mechanical equipment on Ba Lan Xi Street, Hoa Loi Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
Many people used water and mini fire extinguishers to put out the fire, but the fire was so big that it created a column of black smoke, so no one could get close. The fire spread and threatened the gas station next door.

Hoa Loi Ward Police coordinated with the fire fighting force of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Ho Chi Minh City Police to put out the fire. The working groups pulled water hoses in many directions to isolate and prevent the fire from spreading to the gas station.
The fire was brought under control after 30 minutes, but smoke was still smoldering inside. Fire trucks were on standby at the scene to put out the remaining flames and prevent the fire from re-igniting.
At the scene, the warehouse containing machinery and mechanical equipment was burned and severely damaged. The gas station next door was not affected in the fire.
