The writing contest "Deep memories of teachers and school" is assigned by the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) to the Education and Times Newspaper, the permanent unit, to organize annually to recognize and honor teachers with good feelings, good deeds, and outstanding achievements that actively contribute to the cause of educational innovation; recognize and honor educational institutions with many innovations and creativity in teaching and educating students...
Speaking at the ceremony, journalist Trieu Ngoc Lam, Editor-in-Chief of Education and Times Newspaper, Permanent Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Contest, said: In 2025, nearly 90,000 works were sent to the Organizing Committee, of which 70,000 works were sent online and nearly 20,000 works were sent by post .

Many works come from remote areas, small schools, writers who write about teachers for the first time. The precious thing is that they all have the same thought: wanting to express gratitude, wanting to preserve the most beautiful memories of their lives under the school roof. Besides, many other works also leave a strong impression, with depth in feelings and thoughts, especially the painstaking research to recreate very real and real details, each article is a different slice of school life. Some are the memories of a student in the highlands, some are the story of a young teacher who has just graduated, some recount seemingly small memories but turn into great lessons about humanity in education. This diversity makes this year's contest richer in identity.

"The writing contest about teachers and schools is always a journey filled with emotions. Each story told is a flower of gratitude sent to those who have silently sown seeds for life. Whether coming from different regions, whether the memories are far or near, they all converge in one place: Gratitude. Beautiful stories about education will not only stop in the newspaper, but will spread in every school, every family, every classroom. With that spirit, the contest will continue to be maintained every year with an increasingly professional, closer and more widespread spirit. The Editorial Board will continue to expand the digital platform so that the articles will not only be in the newspaper, but also told through sound and images, conveyed to more readers. Memories of teachers must be revived, spread and become a bridge connecting generations of students" - Journalist Trieu Ngoc Lam shared.

Representing the contest's jury, Mr. Pham Quynh, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Vietnam Education Publishing House, said that rarely has a writing contest brought as much emotion as this year's when many articles were as gentle as the sound of the school drum in early autumn, some were filled with regret when the writer realized he had been away from school for too long, and some were simple but filled with gratitude.
There are stories about teachers in the highlands who braved the rain and jungle to get to class; the principal who quietly fixed each set of desks and chairs before the opening day; the homeroom teacher who persistently inspired confidence in shy students; or parents who recounted the moment their children overcame a crisis thanks to the teacher's timely encouragement. These honest sharings once again affirm the irreplaceable role of teachers in the journey of shaping students' personalities and knowledge...
