These sources of encouragement are expected to create a great mental boost for the team before entering the regional competition.

According to the plan, the Vietnam Boxing Team will leave for Thailand to attend the 33rd SEA Games on December 8. With a force consisting of the best boxers today such as: Ha Thi Linh, Vo Thi Kim Anh, Hoang Thi Ngoc Mai, Nguyen Minh Cuong, Nguyen Van Duong or Bui Phuoc Tung... The Vietnam Boxing Team aims to win at least 1 Gold Medal at the 33rd SEA Games. At the 32nd SEA Games, Vietnamese boxers won 2 Gold Medals, 1 Silver Medal and 3 Bronze Medals.

Previously, the Vietnamese kickboxing team also completed preparations for the 33rd SEA Games with bonuses of 500 USD for the Gold Medal, 300 USD for the Silver Medal and 200 USD for the Bronze Medal, respectively, to increase motivation for the athletes. Mr. Dam Cong Dien, in charge of the Kickboxing Department of the Sports and Physical Training Department, acknowledged the difference between the domestic training program and the number of competitions at the 33rd SEA Games as a big challenge.

However, the team still aims to win at least 1 Gold Medal, while focusing on improving their technique, fitness and tactical adaptability. The players are training in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, ready to leave for Thailand on December 11, before entering the phase of familiarizing themselves with the competition conditions and preparing for the decisive matches.
