Health sector deploys Food Safety Management software

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of March 27, at the Conference Hall of Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the Department of Health organized a training conference on Food Safety Management software with the participation of hundreds of officials and leaders of District Health Centers; officials in charge of food safety, officials in charge of information technology; Heads of Health Stations of communes, wards and towns in the city.

Comrade Phan Huy Thuc, Deputy Director of the Department of Health, delivered the opening speech at the Conference.

Speaking at the Conference, Deputy Director of the Department of Health Phan Huy Thuc emphasized that this is a useful tool, supporting food safety management in the city. The Deputy Director of the Department requested relevant units to actively review and develop implementation plans to achieve the highest efficiency, meet the requirements of digital transformation in the field of food safety, contributing to the completion of the digital transformation task of the health sector. During the implementation process, if any difficulties arise, please contact the software supplier or the City Food Safety and Hygiene Department directly for timely support.

The software aims to support the Department of Health and management agencies to have full overview and updated information on the food safety situation in the city, including: statistics on food poisoning, the number of production and business establishments by type, specialized reporting on food safety at affiliated units... The system allows functional units to complete the database on food safety in the management area. Serves the work of monitoring, supervising and promptly responding to incidents related to food safety in the locality. Serves specialized reporting on food safety from commune, district and provincial levels according to regulations.

The Food Safety Management Information System is deployed at the Food Safety and Hygiene Department, District/County Health Center, Commune/Ward Health Station. The system will provide API to ensure the ability to connect and share data with other systems such as: the software system of the Department of Industry and Trade, the software system of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
