On August 19, TKV simultaneously started construction of 5 key projects.

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (1945-2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam September 2 (1945-2025), on the morning of August 19, the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group (TKV) will simultaneously hold the groundbreaking ceremony for 5 key projects.

These are the projects: Underground mining of the Ha Rang mine extension (Hon Gai Coal Company), capacity of 900,000 tons/year, total investment of about 1,392 billion VND, granted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment Mining License No. 154/GP-BNNMT on May 27, 2025; mining of Coc Sau - Deo Nai mine cluster, capacity of 2.7 million tons/year, total investment of about 2,074 billion VND, License No. 202/GP-BNNMT dated June 18, 2025; underground mining of Tan Yen area - Dong Trang Bach mine, capacity of 0.45 million tons/year, total investment of about 1,111 billion VND, License No. 156/GP-BNNMT dated May 28, 2025; Nam Mau coal screening plant, capacity 2.5 million tons/year, total investment of about 1,019 billion VND, was notified by the Department of Industry and Trade of the design appraisal results in Document No. 2138/SCT-QLCN dated June 30, 2025 and the underground workers' dormitory of Nui Beo Coal Joint Stock Company, total investment of about 299 billion VND, scale of 398 rooms according to the model of 1 person/room, implemented from 2025 to 2027.

These are key projects of TKV, of great significance in improving the capacity of coal production, processing and supply, meeting national energy needs, while contributing to the modernization of the coal industry, improving working and living conditions for workers.

Notably, the underground mining project of the Ha Rang mine extension is one of 34 main bridges in the bridges with works and projects selected by the Government to start construction and inaugurate simultaneously, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. According to TKV, to date, all 5 projects have completed legal procedures and are eligible to start construction according to regulations.
