According to statistics from the Department of Tourism , on September 2nd alone, the total number of tourists visiting tourist attractions in Quang Ninh province reached an estimated 95,000; tourism revenue was estimated at 219 billion VND.
Quang Ninh welcomed 384,000 visitors during the three-day holiday.
Of these, the total number of overnight visitors was estimated at approximately 39,000; international visitors reached 6,858. Many tourist areas and attractions saw a large number of visitors, such as: Ha Long Bay with 15,687 visitors, including 3,907 international tourists; Sun World Park with approximately 12,000 visitors; Quang Ninh Museum with 8,521 visitors; Yen Tu historical and scenic site with 1,435 visitors; Ba Vang Pagoda with approximately 4,000 visitors; Yoko Onsen Quang Hanh hot spring area with 940 visitors; Cai Chien Island with approximately 1,200 visitors… 2,951 international tourists entered through the Mong Cai border gate.
Thus, during the three-day holiday from August 31st to September 2nd, 2024, the total number of tourists visiting tourist attractions in Quang Ninh province is estimated at 384,000, reaching 120% compared to the same period in 2023. Of these, the total number of overnight stays is estimated at approximately 149,000, with international tourists accounting for 22,000. Total tourism revenue is estimated at 870 billion VND, equivalent to 130% compared to the same period in 2023.
