September 2: Quang Ninh welcomes 95,000 tourists

According to statistics from the Department of Tourism , on September 2 alone, the total number of tourists visiting tourist attractions in localities throughout Quang Ninh province was estimated at 95,000; tourism revenue was estimated at 219 billion VND.

Quang Ninh welcomed 384,000 visitors during the 3-day holiday.

Of which, the total number of guests staying is estimated at about 39,000; international visitors reached 6,858. The number of tourists to some localities is high, such as: Ha Long 59,000 visitors; Mong Cai 18,000 visitors; Uong Bi 14,500 visitors; Van Don 21,000 visitors, Co To 2,500 visitors...

Many tourist areas and spots have a large number of visitors such as: Ha Long Bay 15,687 visitors, of which international visitors reached 3,907; Sun World Park about 12,000 visitors; Quang Ninh Museum 8,521 visitors; Yen Tu scenic relic site 1,435 visitors; Ba Vang Pagoda about 4,000 visitors; Yoko Onsen Quang Hanh hot spring area 940 visitors; Cai Chien island about 1,200 visitors... International visitors entering through Mong Cai border gate 2,951 visitors.

Thus, during the 3-day holiday from August 31 to September 2, 2024, the total number of tourists visiting tourist attractions in localities throughout Quang Ninh province is estimated at 384,000, reaching 120% compared to the same period in 2023. Of which, the total number of guests staying is estimated at about 149,000; international visitors reached 22,000. Total tourism revenue is estimated at VND 870 billion, equal to 130% compared to the same period in 2023.
