According to Project Management Board 85, according to the approved design documents and construction organization plan of Project Component 2, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project, at Long Thanh intersection, the project will invest in a number of branch lines and 2 bridge branches on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway (left and right branches) over the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway. Of which, 2 overpass branches will be completed and opened to traffic first to serve the construction of the main section of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway intersecting with the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway under the bridge.
Currently, the construction of the two overpass branches has been basically completed and is expected to open to traffic and divert traffic on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway from December 9, 2025.
To serve traffic, Project Management Board 85 has developed a plan to organize traffic and separate traffic flows through these two overpass branches.
For vehicles from Ho Chi Minh City towards Dau Giay, when reaching Long Thanh intersection at about Km23+900 (about 200m from Long Thanh toll station towards Dau Giay), they will go to the right side up the right branch bridge to cross Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway (the straight direction on Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway has been blocked by a hard divider combined with a sign); in the opposite direction, vehicles from Dau Giay to Ho Chi Minh City, when reaching Km25+460, will go to the right side to cross the left branch bridge to cross Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway (the straight direction on Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway has been blocked by a hard divider combined with a sign).
Also according to Project Management Board 85, for Component Project 2, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project, the unit is currently directing construction contractors to focus all their efforts and speed up the remaining items on the main route and intersection branches to ensure completion progress and technical traffic opening on December 19, 2025 according to the direction of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Construction .
