The Online Safety Festival is part of the "Not Alone" Campaign initiated by the Digital Trust Alliance, under the auspices of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the Ministry of Public Security , the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Health, in coordination with the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention, the National Cyber Security Association, and the Hanoi People's Committee.
Need the cooperation of the whole society

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Major General Le Xuan Minh (Director of the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention - Ministry of Public Security) emphasized that online child abuse has been increasing globally. In Vietnam, since the beginning of 2025, the police force has received and handled more than 50 online kidnapping cases (of which 100% of the victims were between 18 and 22 years old, 90% were female). These figures are a strong reminder of the need for coordinated actions and collective commitment to protect children and adolescents in cyberspace.
“No individual or organization can face this challenge alone. We need the cooperation of the whole society: from families, schools, technology enterprises, to international organizations and the community,” Major General Le Xuan Minh emphasized.
The world is also making collective efforts to protect vulnerable groups, including children and adolescents in cyberspace. The Hanoi Convention against Cybercrime, which Vietnam has contributed to, is one of the strong demonstrations of its commitment and determination to protect children and adolescents. Vietnam is committed to fully protecting children's rights in cyberspace and, together with the international community, to build a safe, humane and humane cyberspace for people.
The representative of the Ministry of Public Security assessed that the “Not Alone” Campaign had many innovations and creativity in the way of conveying information to each age group of children and teenagers. The songs and dances of the Campaign were naturally and closely received by children and society.
The campaign is a living testament to the spirit of cooperation, spreading a humane message: No child is left alone to face online risks.

The media content, creative challenges and the theme song “Clicking” were spread naturally, becoming positive points of contact in the community.
According to the representative of the Ministry of Public Security, from small actions today, whether it is a positive share or a timely warning, we are contributing to building a safe wall for millions of Vietnamese children.
The “Not Alone” campaign and Online Safety Day are practical activities, contributing to the implementation of the Hanoi Convention on Cybercrime, affirming Vietnam's pioneering role in global efforts to protect children in the online environment.
The event not only raises awareness but also creates a large social movement, where every individual, organization, business and community joins hands to build a safe and humane cyberspace, where every child is protected and never alone.
