National Great Unity Day in Cu Kty commune, Krong Bong district

On the morning of November 14, the Front Working Committee of Village 2 (Cu Kty Commune, Krong Bong District) organized the National Great Unity Day 2023 on the occasion of the 93rd Anniversary of the Founding of the Vietnam National United Front - Traditional Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2023).

Attending the festival were Director of the Department of Home Affairs Bach Van Manh; Secretary of the Krong Bong District Party Committee Do Quoc Huong; along with government representatives and a large number of local people.

At the festival, delegates and people together reviewed the history and tradition of 93 years of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; listened to the report on the results of the implementation of the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" in 2023; enjoyed performances by villagers praising the Party, Uncle Ho, love for the homeland and country...

Village 2 currently has 180 households, with 929 people, including 1 ethnic minority household (5 people); the economic life of the villagers mainly depends on agriculture. In recent years, the Party Committee, the Self-management Committee, and the Village Front Committee have mobilized the people to effectively carry out patriotic emulation movements, build a civilized lifestyle in residential areas, and cultural families...

Poor households in difficult circumstances in village 2 receive gifts from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province.

Thanks to that, the villagers have actively competed in labor and production, so the economy is somewhat better; they have the conditions to build solid and spacious houses. Currently, the whole village has 145 households with average and good economy (accounting for 80.5%); the average income reaches 23 million VND/person/year.

100% of households meet the criteria of "Exemplary grandparents and parents, filial children and grandchildren". 100% of households comply with the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws; 86.6% of households achieve the title of "Cultural Family". People in Village 2 always maintain the title of "Cultural Village" and are selected by all levels to organize "Cultural Highlights" in 2023.

In 2023, the Village Front Working Committee mobilized people to contribute to the Fund for the Poor, the Gratitude Fund, the Fund to support natural disasters and floods with a total amount of more than 10 million VND; contributed nearly 60 million VND to help disadvantaged families develop the economy, build village cultural houses, organize cultural and sports activities for teenagers in the summer...

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province presented 10 gifts (VND 1 million/gift) to poor households and those in difficult circumstances in the village; Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Krong Bong district supported VND 1 million to the Front Working Committee of Village 2, and provided funding to build a Great Unity house for a household with housing difficulties, worth VND 50 million; Cu Kty Commune People's Committee presented Certificates of Recognition and rewards to 3 exemplary cultural families.
