Promoting connection between labor supply and demand
In his opening speech, Mr. Tran Van Ha - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Bac Ninh province said: "This year's Job Fair is a practical activity to concretize Resolution No. 06/NQ-CP of the Government on developing a flexible, modern and sustainable labor market. The goal is to help workers and businesses find each other, create stable employment opportunities, increase income and contribute to sustainable poverty reduction."
According to Mr. Ha, Bac Ninh province currently has more than 19,000 operating enterprises, with about 600,000 workers. “In 2025 alone, the recruitment demand of enterprises in the province is expected to be more than 100,000 workers, an increase of about 20% compared to the previous year. By 2026, this number could reach 120,000 people.”
In addition to maintaining the urban unemployment rate below 3%, the province is directing specialized agencies to synchronously deploy solutions to connect labor supply and demand, while encouraging businesses to promote social responsibility, and provide career counseling and orientation for students.
Mr. Ha also said that through Bac Ninh Employment Service Center No. 1, the Department of Home Affairs has coordinated to organize many transaction sessions and job fairs to create opportunities for students and workers to find suitable positions, without having to wait or go through intermediaries.
“We aim to have graduates able to work immediately in the province’s enterprises, while at the same time developing skilled human resources and foreign languages to meet the requirements of international integration,” Mr. Ha emphasized.

Vocational education linked to social needs
Dr. Mai Thi Huyen - Vice Principal of Bac Giang University of Agriculture and Forestry, affirmed that the school's training orientation is always linked to business practices and market needs. With the motto "Learning goes hand in hand with practice - Connecting with businesses", the school implements a 3-year program at school and 1-year internship at businesses. This model helps students gain solid knowledge, professional skills and practical experience during their studies.
Currently, the school is training 20 diverse majors, from agriculture - forestry - fishery, food technology, engineering, economics to languages. More than 80% of students have jobs right after 6 months of graduation, and the rate of finding suitable jobs is nearly 100%.
The school also expands international cooperation, especially the 1-semester study abroad program in China for Chinese Language majors - a new direction for students to both study foreign languages and access modern culture and technology.

Businesses and students connect the future
Attending the Job Fair, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Yen, representative of the recruitment department of Foxconn Science and Technology Group, said that the group currently has more than 17 branch companies nationwide with more than 120,000 employees.
Currently, the group is recruiting more than 60,000 unskilled workers with a basic salary of 5.5 million VND, and a monthly allowance of 2.7 million VND. In addition, technical and office positions will be negotiated based on capacity.
Hong Hai Group also focuses on spiritual welfare, organizes many cultural and sports activities, thereby connecting employees, creating a stable and humane working environment.

A representative of Desay Battery Vina Co., Ltd. said that the company is currently expanding production in Bac Ninh, and needs to recruit hundreds of engineers and workers to operate automatic production lines, with priority given to students majoring in electricity - electronics, mechanics and high-tech agriculture, with competitive salaries and clear promotion opportunities.
Opportunities from recruitment practices
At the booth area, many participating businesses also directly receive applications and conduct on-site interviews. Not only limited to recruitment, many booths also introduce vocational study abroad programs and jobs in Japan, Korea, and Taiwan, helping workers have more options for jobs abroad under legal contracts.

Nguyen Phuong Ly, a first-year student majoring in Chinese Language, excitedly shared: “This is the first time I have participated in such a large-scale festival. I have been able to approach businesses, receive direct advice and better understand the actual requirements of the labor market. This has helped me orient my studies right from the first year.”
Dao Thanh Tam, a final year student of class D-CNTP12A majoring in Food Technology, said: “I am about to graduate, so this is a valuable opportunity to meet businesses, especially in the field of agricultural and food processing. After graduating, I hope to work at businesses in the province to contribute to the development of the clean food industry for Bac Ninh.”

Speaking to reporters, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Son - Director of Bac Ninh Employment Service Center No. 1, said: "The 2025 Job Fair is a practical connection activity between the State - Schools - Enterprises - Workers. We expect to create thousands of new job opportunities and contribute to maintaining the unemployment rate at a low level."
Mr. Son added: “By 2025, the whole province will need about 130,000 new workers, while the supply is still lacking, especially in the group with technical skills and foreign languages. Students with good foreign language skills will have significantly higher income and job opportunities. Therefore, we will continue to promote early career counseling and orientation for students so that they not only find suitable jobs, but also have good, sustainable jobs.”
The 2025 Job Fair at Bac Giang University of Agriculture and Forestry is not only a large-scale recruitment event but also an important bridge between training and the labor market.
