The central streets: Le Duan, Nguyen Hue, Pham Ngoc Thach, Dong Khoi… became more crowded than ever when people poured in very early, carrying national flags, red flags with yellow stars in the excitement and jubilation of the great holiday.
Many families, groups of young people and foreign tourists have chosen beautiful locations near the Independence Palace, Nguyen Hue walking street, and Bach Dang Wharf to watch the celebration program. In particular, people expressed their excitement when they learned that there would be large-scale parades, cannon firings at Bach Dang Wharf, and many activities displaying modern military equipment.
It is expected that during the celebration on the morning of April 30, helicopters will participate in the national flag display; Yak-130 and Su-30MK2 fighter jets will perform a celebratory flight over the city. These are highly anticipated performances, demonstrating the strength and spirit of solidarity and development of the country after half a century of unification.
Authorities have deployed plans to ensure security and order and traffic flow, creating favorable conditions for people and tourists to feel secure participating in festival activities taking place during this special event.
