On the afternoon of November 3rd, the leaders of Ea Kao commune People's Committee (Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak province) announced that they had directed the commune police to investigate information regarding a man assaulting a female delivery driver.
Around noon that same day, several video clips appeared on Facebook showing a man assaulting a female delivery driver, allegedly in Ea Kao commune.

In the video clip, a female delivery driver arrives to deliver a package, and a man goes outside to talk to her. Just a few minutes later, the man suddenly rushes in and slaps and punches the female driver right in the middle of the street.
Being assaulted, the female delivery driver could only stand there helplessly, while her motorbike and the goods on it spilled onto the road.

Not stopping there, the man ran into the house, grabbed a machete, and threatened to attack the female delivery driver. Immediately, a woman intervened, holding the man back.
The entire incident of the female delivery driver being assaulted was recorded by people standing on the roadside.
