(Dan Tri Newspaper) - A man tried to pawn a fake gold necklace for 80 million VND, but the gold shop owner discovered it and he tried to run away, but he was caught by the locals.
On March 8th, the police in Bac Son commune, Trang Bom district (Dong Nai province) filed a case against Hoang Van Bang (40 years old, from Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) for the crime of fraud and appropriation of property.

Earlier, on the afternoon of March 4th, Bang and his accomplices rode a motorbike carrying a fake gold necklace to the QBT jewelry store in Phu Son hamlet, Bac Son commune (Trang Bom district, Dong Nai province) to pawn it.
When dealing with the jeweler, Bang wanted to pawn a necklace for 80 million dong. After inspection, the shop owner discovered the necklace was fake gold, and Bang and his accomplices immediately fled.
However, upon hearing the gold shop owner's shouts, the surrounding residents chased after Bang, caught him, and handed him over to the police.
